Chandigarh National Crafts Mela to have south Indian theme
Third Chandigarh National Crafts Mela to be held at Kalagram from October 8 to 17 is going to have the theme ”Colours and Sounds of South India”. The event’s theme last year was related to the culture of north-eastern states.
Folk traditions of southern states ‘ Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka ‘ and union territories Puducherry, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be on show at the festival.
